Hi Guys,
I've just got back from Chatsworth and had a great time. However, while I was there I overheard two comments from members of the general public, that I thought I would share with you.

1) Elderly couple, obviously talking about the gathering when man says to woman, "they may look very nice, but they were well known for being completely unreliable,"
(Don' know about you guys, but to me it looked like the 500 or so examples there today were doing pretty well!!)rage

2) Two reasonably attractive young ladies, talking about the rather crowded nature of Chatsworth today, "well, I didn't expect so many people to be here today, it's probably got something to do with all those Porsches!
(Didn't matter how fit they were, I was totally speechless!) weeping

So on the way home I got to thinking, was I the only one overhearing st, or did you hear something to?

I heard an old guy saying to his family
They are some kind of kit car. A company up north somewhere starts them and the owners finish them off.

He hit the nail bang on the head if you ask me biglaugh

Cheers mate. Defo catch up next year, you'd be more than welcome to stop over night here before too if you fancied it. Let me know if you're doing any TVRCC Trackdays this year too, I'd love to come along.

That would please the current Duke no end, 3 or 4 years ago we ended up doing much the same in our normal car when the grass at the front got rather moist at the rally show.

Not Chatsworth related, but I'm sure you won't mind me posting this.
Was at a small event at Goodwood House a couple of weeks back in the Cerbera parked nose to nose with an Aventador Porsche behind, Maserati one side, Ferrari the other, and a few AMG's.

Couple of old folks wander past and start taking a look at the Cerbera, so had a little chat, old boy turns round to me and says, "nice to see a proper British car, not like all this foreign muck" biggrin

I saw three broken down, one griff and two chims on route. I have no idea whom they were, two had AA vans with them so I did not stop but I did stop for the other and he said he had a van very close so not to worry.
