And you could talk to Dom at Powers performance. The more info the better I'd say. After alot of consideration the super charger is another great option, runs cooler, power everywhere etc. It's goes on like that! Lol

I had a quick look at Torqueflows turbo installation at the Neil Garner open day- its quite a novel set set up, he had kept the 14CUX, but fitted bigger injectors to allow more fuel, but then effectively re-calibrated the ECU by controlling the AFM's output (analogue setting) as this is the major component that controls the fuel map points. Perfectly do-able, but it will require calibration once fitted to the car, so I cant see how it could be shipped overseas and simply fitted, but as said speak to the man himself.

I had a look at the TF turbo and thought it had a mega something or other set-up with coil packs! I did pay attention to the numbers and a figure of £3,500 excluding fitting and loads more BHP and torques than I think I can handle spring to mind.
Blitz is a lot more knowledgable than me on how it all works, so unless the lucas co-exists with the mega thingy, I may have got that bit wrong!

He'd just managed to get the 14CUX to work in this case (no doubt this keeps the cost down) - but it would be better to use aftermarket ECU, especially as you can map the ignition as well.

Speak to Eann.
There is a choice at to have the TF controlled AFM and original lucas ECU or spend a little more and have the Megasquirt.

I would suggest the latter then any further tuning and modification will be a breeze.

Top kit by a top man at a very reasonable price.

Eann offers a megasquirt option also i believe . there's certainly one car with Eann's kit running fuel only megasquirt, soon to be controlling ignition too. If it were me I would be going for one of the more conventional ECUs out there because i'm not a big MS fan, and in the grand scheme of total costs an extra 300 pounds to get a proper ecu in there would be money well spent in my opinion. Certainly 99% of mappers wouldn't thank you for bringing in a turbo megasquirt car, but would welcome and omex, mbe, emerald car etc. Eann's turbo kit is very nicely done though and nicely thought out and is probably the one I would go for if putting my own money in my pocket.

I think that was my Orange Chimaera at Chatsworth. I can only praise Eann Whally for his dedication on the turbo kit he did for me. He is working on installing coil packs next on my car and then we can get it mapped on fuel, boost and ignition all which will be run by ecu (intstead of just the fuel). Then it should be running sweet, looking forward to it. If you need any info about turbo kits give him a ring or drop him an email he's a really knowlegable guy.
