Hi guys, after a long winter obviously the battery was flat on my T350c, charged and tested it and it was beyond repair, so I fitted a new battery and now I am constantly getting a fault code on the dash pod saying fault code 247 "F-Ram failure" also the mileage has completely reset itself and does do every time I recycle the ignition, Am I right thinking that there is a cell battery in the dash pod?? And how the f**k can I get my original mileage back the dash pod if at all??..

I did this accidentally, and got the same 247 f-ram, there is zero surge protection on the low voltage dash ecu so you can pretty much guarantee you will fry it if connecting the battery with key On. It cost me £120 to fix but it depends entirely how many chips you fry, I'm told up to around £250. You can expect to wait around a week. The mileage will be fixed too.

Its running great. It was just a dead m36 immobiliser box, its been replaced and I now have new fobs. The only difference is that I need to use the fob slot rather than key button for de-immobilising 
I'm slowly discovering how people who work in car electrics are reluctant to go near TVRs... I went into a car audio shop to get a simple head unit swap... flat no "wont go near em"... wimp, another shop unaware of the perils did it in 10 minutes!

Same with alarm engineers... "would not want to do a full alarm/immob swap on a tvr". hmmm...
Doesnt seem that complicated to me, just a bunch of boxes and wires, haha

Have been away for a few days so havent been able to do anything. No I defiantly didn't have the ignition on cos I couldn't get into the car! I have tried to remove the dash pod this evening but am struggling to as I cannot see how it is mounted, are there any hidden securing screws that I cant see guys ???.

Oh that's good news, hopefully I can get the same result, not really concerned as to how much it costs as long as I can get it repaired back to original mileage .It cost me £120 to fix but it depends entirely how many chips you fry, I'm told up to around £250.
