meta alarm

my car battery went flat on my cerbera so i jumped started it and now my remote fob wont lock the doors when i press the fob button, it was working fine until the car battery went flat, does the alarm get affected by a flat battery and what can i do to get it working again ? its a meta alarm by the way, thanks for any advice given

Yep, you need to re-sync the fob to the alarm - have a search how to but shout if you need help. It's fairly quick and simple!

And get an Accumate!

If the reset doesnt work you could try Dave at HF Solutions. Hes just reprogrammed by Meta because I only had one fob and I now have two new ones and the original. The new ones also have the boot release

Did you get this sorted, Tony?

You need to disconnect the battery, wait thirty seconds, reconnect the battery, press the fob button to disarm the alarm and you're done. No need to resync.

hello edd, i have got it sorted now thanks , i disconnected the battery and then reconnected and pressed fob and all ok now mate. i went through the dartford tunnel on sunday, what a noise i made in 3rd gear, popping like a machine gun, i love it, countdown to the tunnel run , wont be long now
