Hi folks,

as per title really, I have the plenum and rocker from Winnie sat in my living room. Started to try and remove the badges but they seem rather stubborn.

Is there a tried and tested way of getting them of without damage?

Warm the engine up and prise them off with a flat bladed screwdriver

Hot air gun (or the wife's hairdryer when she's not in) just to loosen the glue.. then a flat, think knife is ideal..

Cheers thumbup

Although, both suggestions may be a bit difficult. They are not on the car anymore so starting may cause a problem biggrin

No wife or hairdryer in house..... I'll go on the hunt.

I have seen them, mine is also a 450. Any ideas on getting hold of a plenum badge?

No I had to put the original one back on. I couldn't find one anywhere. I suppose you could try a scrapper breaking a 450, but unlikely to be any better than the one you remove.

Shame frown

The one I have has a few scratches on it and will look rather scruffy once the rest of the bay is nice and tidy. May have to pay a visit to a metal fabricators and have a word thumbup
