I have a workmate who insists on saying Vantage with a French accent - "Van-targe". I say no. It is the same as advantage but without the ad.
Is there any official guidance I can use to shut him up?
I fail to see how that is a French accent. Where does the 'r' come from? French pronounication would be Van-taaj. No R to be seen (or heard) anywhere. Is there any official guidance I can use to shut him up?

Ok I accept that an R sound in Van/Varn depends on whether you are northern or southern but definitely no R sound in tage(targe). Whether said with a French accent or otherwise.
I think the lady pronounces Vantage in a lovely voice at the end if this vid
