Conus Bottom ball joint Griffith
Discussion
Hallo.
I hope someone can help me out.
For a clubmember I sourced a new front knuckle for his Griffith.
It is a standard Sierra item BUT for some reason TVR has redrilled the bottom conus.
The bottom balljoint won't fit the hole properly.
It is easy to redrill but I need the angle of the conus to get the job done properly.
Does anybody has that info.
Help much apriciated.
You can also send info to my E-mailadress hamada@planet.nl
regards
Hans.

Not quite Joo,I think he's talking about a brand new Ford Hub. The Sierra hubs come with different tapers, so you have to recut the taper to suit the 'Lada' version.
Baretti went through this a few years ago, he had problems that the engineers wanted / didn't have a particular reamer to cut the taper IIRC.
I think OP is asking for the taper dimensions of the Lada BJ, can't really understand why he doesn't just buy a Lada BJ & ask engineers to mate (new BJ taper is likely to measure more accurately than a worn hub internal or old used BJ?)
