Totally pointless, only people in their mid 30's and up know what it is.. What it is with remaking stuff that only people who have out-grown the original identify ?

I bought Miner 2049'r and Karate Champ on the iPhone as I had great memories of them as a child. And they both were surprisingly okay!

You can get a version that runs on the pc today. Reminded me why I did not like it back then either.

If they cloned the original, I wouldn't be that interested, it was pretty ropey back then, and would be even more so today. If however they kept the game play similar but brought the graphics and audio up to date, that could be fun, simple, addictive, easy to pick up and put down, could be a hoot.
