Memory card on a GoPro Hero 2

Hi,

Off on a 4 day cycle trip from Solihull to Paris and taking the GoPro Hero 2 to get some on bike video footage.

I have a Sandisk extreme 16gb card and not sure how much actual recording i can get on there, i don't really want to go to the expense of buying another card if i can get all the footage i need on one memory card.

On the card it states 16gb/4 hr, is that really 4 hours of HD recording i can cram onto one card as if so i am sure this will be enough ?

Not sure at full HD you would get 4 hours out of a 16gb card. My GoPro Hero Black recording in 720 at 120 fps did 3.66gb for 17 minutes of footage.

I had my Hero2 out yesterday. Full HD 1080 at 30fps : files sizes 2Gb for 17 minutes which equates to two and a quater hours on a 16Gb card

Get some more cards.
Sandisk Extreme 32gb = £23
Sandisk Ultra 32gb = £18

They are not expensive.
