I've been trying to obtain fuel hose for in tank use but can't find any. Does anyone have a spare bit of 8mm hose that's ok to use with todays fuel, only need about 6 inches. Or know where I can get some, I've tried all the usual places; Demon, Merlin, Burton......

thanks

Graham

Paul, didn't think of them, will call my local one later. Also I'll try our local chandlers.

Hi Dave, unfortunately web site and stock don't match, not expected in for a week or so.
I'm hoping that I get this fuel system sorted this week and will see you at Stoneleigh to catch up.

Graham,

had the same problem sourcing some in tank fuel hoses for the tanks im am building at the moment.

I now will use convoluted flexi pipe from Courtenay Sport.
www.courtenaysport.co.uk/buy-online/shop-by-catego...

Rubber hose for in tank use needs to meet SAE J30R10 or DIN 73379-E.
Other hoses will deteriorate if submerged in fuel.

Another source I found is
www.autoperformanceengineering.com
They offer plastic and rubber hoses for in tank use and othe interesting stuff.

Hi Dom, probably but I don't have a fuel system at the moment to be able to get to the show!

ETA
Sorted, a very nice lady from Fuel Pumps Online has sent me a piece of hose that was on the returns shelf. It turns out that there is no intank hose available at the moment, only small lengths that go out with pump kits.
Now alli have to do is get my swirl pot lid sealed (watch this space!)
Thanks to all for suggestions/directions/advice.

Graham
