My 1M is just approaching 7000m, I've noticed a lot of stone chips on both of the rear wheels arches. Anyone else had similar or spoken to BMW about it? A friend of mina had a lot of paint done under warranty on an X5 because of chips in the same place.
Mine has 10k on it but i put venture shield on the rear arches and it has done a great job. No chips at all. Get them painted and then venture shield'd so it doesn't happen again. Its the only way to protect them as they are venerable due to the amount they stick out.
