Excuse my ignorance but how does removing the 'wadding' differ from removing the pre-cats for example? Does it affect MOT's, emmissons, etc?
Can I be cheeky and ask how much it cost?

just removes the soundproofing & not the cats. think it was about 120 quid.

Cut open the silencer box, remove the wadding and perforated pipe from inside - replace with steel pipe and weld box back up. Then its time to pi55 the neighbours off

IIRC it cost about £100 - £120

Well done, You know it makes sence. I had mine done about a year ago, its now going back to Peninsula in the next couple of weeks to get the pre cats taken out and non-revserse cones fitted. You were impressed when I pulled away from the shell station on the Wimborne Rd, wait till these have been removed

Just to add, exhaust mod does not affect pre-cats or mot. Although it will even pass mot with the pre-cats out too... allegedly! I'm leaving mine in though, to keep legal for trackdays.
