The Search Begins
Discussion
So after almost pressing the button on a new C63 a change of circumstances has led to a slightly smaller budget - but now the excitement is building again that I will soon have my very own 911.
I am looking to Spend around £25k for a 997 C2S and want to find one with most of the extras. What I have seen so far through a few searches is that I will be looking for an 05 car with 40-60k on the clock. The switchable sports exhausts seems to be pretty rare.
The car that looks like it ticks all the boxes, although slightly more than I wanted to pay is:

What do you think? Good price? Mileage? anything else?
Thanks, Ben

You can't really see much from that add apart from the fact that the interior looks like it has had something nasty wiped all over it? It might just be the pics.
Find out if its a trader or if it is private, how long he has had it and what work has been done to it etc etc.
Then get it inspected.

In a similar position, initially looking at a Cayman S but can't seem to stop thinking about the 997 C2S. Personally, I think that one is a bit high on the miles considering others out there such as this...

...but doesn't seem to have PSE, which is a desirable option but agree hard to find. Not heard of the outfit selling either, which might not mean much but I'm looking to purchase from someone like Chappell, RSJ, RPM etc but can also see the benefits of a private purchase. As mentioned, get it inspected and I'll be getting a boroscope done. Have also seen this, which have to say I love the colour but not particularly traditional...
