Hello all, I am having a problem with my E46 M3 dash. Long story short, there are some warning lights but more significant are none of the gauges work.

Got it re-coded by Brystone, the local specialist, but it went within 10 yards of the workshop.

Now, my main question is can I buy a second hand dash unit and get it coded to my car, to give correct mileage etc? Or is a new one my only option?

Appreciate any advice.

Not an m3, but I had my dashboard fail on an Sl320 I had, it was an electrical fault (short circuit) they (the garage) kept blowing fuses and eventually got an electrical engineer out to trace the issue.

Not saying that's entirely relevant but worth a shout if you haven't tried it.
