Is there a knack in stirring cinnamon into ones homemade coffee, cup of hot milk, so it doesn't go 'clumpy'?

I would imagine the easiest way is to mix the cinnamon powder into the drink well & then use a fine mesh tea strainer to get rid of any large lumps.
