Hi i have braught 6600 brake callipers am i right in thinking i need a adapter to fit them to the hubs to go from 152-130 mm centres was thinking of going for racing greens own discs 322-30 cheers

Chris,

I'd have a look at the engineering drawings for both calipers on the AP website to work out how to adapt from one to the other. Are you moving up in disc diameter from the 4.2 setup?

The original calipers are 5200 - the mountings on those is M10 on 152mm centres.

The 6600 caliper has M10 mountings on 130mm centres. Apart from any spacer you will probably need to re-drill the front uprights to accommodate them.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. I just didn't know if there was the same offset between the mounting centres and the centre of the disc for each caliper.

Hi just found out they used to have adapter bracket jo733 but surprise surprise you cant get anymore was a interim part

Easy enough to make. Its just a bit of aluminium with the right drillings/helicoiled holes.
