2005 DB9 Volante

Please help, I have nasty roof problem, the roof lid catches will not undo, I have checked all tHe fuses, striped out the rear interior to manually release the lid catches and after looking inside still no joy. I have removed the rear fuse box and am in the process of checking wires, some look corroded, so I am cleaning up. Does any know what wires might be the problem? The catch motors are newish, this is driving me insane, cheers Simon
