I'm running carbs on my 420se though I'm thinking of switching back to the injection system at the end of the year. Do I refit the original system or is there a better fuel injection system for the Rover V8?
Any ideas or advice?

Cheers

Sorry to come over to the dark side, but was interested in how you got on with the carb and why you were switching back?

What's wrong with your carb setup?

I have no problems with the carb set up if I'm honest, though I do have a doubt over fuel efficiency and the possibility of loosing a few BHP. That fact and taking the car back to it's original state.
I know there's plenty to get out of the engine, though if I'm wanting to build on BHP I would have thought an injection system is the way to go....
On the other hand a carb set up is pleasing on the eye.

If set up properly you shouldnt be down on max power. I`m assuming you are using a Webber 500. mpg may be slightly down but only slightly.

Here is an interesting article about setting up a Webber 500.
