Langoustine passenger

I started going to Le Mans back in the silk cut jag era and at the peak there was 14 of us all these years later it got down to me and my son and now he doesn't want to go .I was lucky enough to hook up with a great crowd a few years back and stayed with them on langoustine and obviously chipped in with money .

Question is anyone got a spare space for a slightly mad 45 yr old double glazing repair man based in Essex who can cadge a lift to Le Mans and stay on the langoustine camp site.? I'm based in Clacton on sea Essex but will travel to hook up with anyone and anywhere on the way down to ferry train!chip in my share of chores and can chip in with whatever .I'm currently restoring an ex race car anglia 105 e that I hoped to get done but turns out too much rust worm and not enough time.

Sorry Martin, afraid I can't help as the car is utterly full (having a dry-run squeezing everything/one in this weekend), but wanted to say hi as I'm in Clacton too. Best of luck getting sorted, if I could help I would have most happily.

ETA - Just had a further thought, I'm waiting to hear from one of my friends as to his arrangements - he usually does Thurs/Fri - Sun night/Monday. He's in Herts, but quite likely travelling alone. If you like when I catch up with him I can inquire as to whether that's an option - perhaps meeting at the petrol station off the M25 at Brentwood?

I live Oxfordshire and staying at TL but not coming back. I am off for a weeks driving round Europe.. I will be heading to TL either Tuesday night or Wednesday am

Make sure you are booked in or have spoken to Andy at TL, or the guys at the gate won't let you in unless you pitch on the allocated pitches of the guys you travel with.
