UNIVERSAL JOINTS 3000M

Hi Boys,
Things are going slowly , body off everything stipped off chassis ,started cutting bad sections from chassis ,not much left !!!!. Started cleaning diff ,noticed crack in hoops on universal joint plate ( attached to diff ) one side of plate hoops been rebuilt with weld. I have decided to replace plates , anybody know where I can get them from ,donor vehicle etc.Small amount of play in universal joints again going to replace , anybody know what I ask for at supplier part number etc.

Adrian at Exactly TVR will have everything you need for this, the interface plates and the UJs. If there's any play in the UJs replace them, they wear out pretty quickly on a V6 M anyway unless well greased. I recommend you get the type with grease nipple attachments (and keep them well greased), the sealed for life type never seemed to last very long.
The driveshafts are Triumph 2000, so any Stag, TR6, 2000/2500 UJ will fit. There are some uprateed ones (bigger yoke) which seem to last longer.
