Do any of you other female PHers have this problem?
I rack my brains every week during the Friday night trip to Morrisons on what can I give the family to eat the following week. When they ask what's for tea and I tell them! the response is 'oh I don't really feel like that tonight, think I'll get take out' or ' I fancy Macdonals'
Should I get stroppy and say, you'll have what I'm making and that's that, or should I just let them get on with it, it's saved me the trouble cooking and if it can be dished back up the following week.
I would be interested to hear what you other ladies (or gents) think?

As the other half is away all week, I never know when my daughter is working, and I do stupid shifts, I tend to fill the freezer with ready meals, then my son can help himself. If he only wants toast, then he makes toast.
Weekends though, I do try to do a couple of proper meals, although more often than not, I am only feeding 3 of us.
Mostly it's a type of fend for yourself thing here, but saying that I bought loads of salad stuff and my son has been making himself some nice salad dishes this week (well from what I have seen anyway)
