In today's Motoring Section of The Telegraph (p5) article about selling luxury marques in Russia...."And there may soon be a TVR factory in Moscow now that 'baby oligarch' NS has bought the Blackpool based firm". This just paper speculation about new factory ?

Yeah just Torygraph rubbish. Smolenski apparently said he's going to keep it British and if poss make it more British buy buying in more British made parts.

Why not, they had a factory in Malaysia. Seems a sensible approach to have a satellite factory in a very large target marketplace. Moscow is a very rich city these days, loads more money around there than any other part of Russia.

But if you were going to set up a manufacturing operation you'd have it somewhere more cost effective such as Romania, Hungary or Czech, so I'd say it's cobblers.
