Thought it was about time I put up some photos of my Anglia...

I've recently swapped the Yokohama A539 175/50s for some Avon CR500 175/55s. They seem super sticky so I'll have to see how they wear. The Yokohamas were very good.

That is really lovely, best colour for them too, although I've always thought they look good in all colours. What engine is it running? I have a 1960 Prefect, I'd love to acquire an Anglia to go with it!

Thanks...

It's running a 1660 Crossflow. It's pretty nippy.

I've got a stage 3 head (not currently on the car) so I'm debating whether to put twin Weber 45s on it with a "wild" cam.

Do you have any photos of your Prefect? thumbup

That's lovely smile I'm not a fan of such low profile tyres on old cars, but I can see why you'd do it with a quick engine in the front.

Nice Anglia. Colour really suits it!

You don't happen to live in Felixstowe do you? I think I recognise the car park in the photos.

Very nice, I bet it is. I was putting a 1340cc crossflow lump that had had a lot done to it in mine but decided to go for a pre-crossflow lump in the end just because of it being easier and a bit more period. I don't have any pictures of the car in one bit at the moment lol its in a bit of a state currently but should be all together by the end of summer hopefully!
