long time luker fist time poster iam looking at a 2004 range rover 4.4 thinking off haveing lpg fited has any one used lpg london and what they where like good or bad

You'll likely be better off finding one that's already got LPG fitted. Converted cars don't seem to command much of a premium.

If you're already looking at ways of cutting costs a Range Rover may not be for you.....

However if you're full of opinion and offering very little of value then any LandRover product would appear to be right up your street. rolleyes

There are a couple of lpg forums and RR are popular choices in all their petrol guises.
I think the older BMW engine is happier than the newer Jag? based V8 on lpg. No idea when the changeover was time wise.

A decent conversion will cost you 2k (if you're paying someone else) so unless the base car is cheap it is going to be much cheaper to get one already done as long is it done properly.

As has been said there doesn't seem to be much of a premium on converted cars at sale. All the more reason to get one already done.
Check availability as it can be a surprisingly long way to your nearest lpg pump. Making extra journies just to fill up rather defeats the object.
