Has anyone fitted Nitrons to their Chim & kept a record of suspension settings at different circuits on track days ?

Just thought it might save a lot of "trial & error" to use tried & tested settings as a starting point.

If you are looking at track-specific settings, I think spring rates, geometry, tyre type/size/condition/pressure, track condition and the driver's handling preferences are all factors that will dramatically affect the 'right' damper settings, and the variation between these would be more than the variation between tracks. Also remember that there have been lots of different variations in the Nitron damper spec over the years so x clicks on your dampers may not have the same effect as x clicks on somebody else's. TBH I think you might be better off picking a conservative road setting as a starting point and gradually tweaking it from there. It's good fun as long as you are methodical about it (only change one thing at a time, and be aware that other factors outside your control are not always constant).

Thanks Peter - as usual your comments make a lot of sense.
