Hi all
Looking at selling the rep mobile and getting either a rev2 or rev3 mr2 turbo. However, how much would you pay for a decent condition one and where abouts to look?

Cheers

Definitely go rev 3, unless you're planning on tuning it beyond recognition. Improved turbo, head engine management and better gearbox (dual synchro and LSD as standard, optional on rev 2).

Both of mine have been tin-tops but I understand that the T-bar is fine too. Front strut braces make a big difference, rear not so much. I find them awful to drive on standard 15 inch wheels, best on 17s.

Prices now seem to be £2-£3k, over £3k would have to be a very good one. Make sure it's had specialist attention. A lot of garages really struggle on these.

Look on MR2OC.co.uk or IMOC.com. Autotrader and eBay both seem well stocked but you've got a better chance of getting the full history and details through a club.

Nice turbos regularly pop up on imoc, best place to find one!
