So winter is approaching and I am planning on getting some major work completed on the car.

I intend to remove the bonnet and send it off for a respray to remove some cracks and paint ripples. Can anyopne suggest a good place around Bracknell that I could use and if they will collect/deliver the bonnet.

Whilst the bonnet is away I am planning on taking out the engine and gearbox so that I can get to the chassis rails by the exhaust manifolds. They are in desperate need of a clean up and paint.

Whilst the engine is out of the car it's a good opportunity to tidy up and sort a few things out. I intend to put on a new sump as the one I have seems to have rusted - not sure how though.

I also thought I should do the clutch at the same time. Can anyone suggest anything else that it would be a good idea to do whilst I have it out?

It sounds like you have most things covered, doing the clutch is a very good idea. I would change the oil / filter in the engine and gearbox at the same time as the access is good. Grease the nipples on the prop which can be hard to get to with the exhaust in place. Check the condition of the exhaust manifold gaskets etc.

Steam clean the engine/gearbox whilst they are out.
