Replacing Speedo light bulb...

Is it possible to change the speedo instrument bulb without taking the dash top off?

Be good to know before I get all upside down and try it

no... you need to take the dash top off i know the third bolt is a bugger i took mine out and put a strip of velco just below the line where it meets the windscreen trim also put M6 wingnuts on the other bolts after that it only takes a minute or two to get the top dash off

I never bothered bolting mine back down ... it hasn't moved or squeaked in 18 months.

But you need to drive it to make it squeak, tickled here! A couple of minutes to remove that's a record I'm sure !

Well that was easy

Only one finger with a slice out of it, took just under an hour to get the dash top off.

Anyone know what the bulb is, I've never seen one this size before?

Dont put bulbs in. Put LEDs in and never have to replace one again.
