Saw it turn up on autotrader just before chatsworth, and knew it would sell after chatsworth, a rare beast indeed.

Wow. But then I paid £22k for mine from James. So there's the difference for a red rose over a late 4.5

I was rather selfishly hoping James would have been advertising it at a bit more- around the 30k mark, as mine has 17000 miles on the clock and IMO is in as good nick as the silver one. Not that I'm planning on selling but it's nice to know your car is slowly ascending in value!

If you want a late cerbera with low mileage I think you would struggle to beat this one:

Not connected to me in anyway but if I had the cash I would have this. As we all know, the late 4.2 are 4.5 bottom ends/pistons/cranks anyhow and it does look very good.

I have seen that Cerbera advertised.
My only concern with it would be that the car is 9 years old and covered less than 6000 miles.
It must have been sitting idol/laid up for long periods of time.
Even if it has been stored correctly in a heated garage and recommissioned properly, my worry is having to replace items like rubber seals head gaskets etc.
Wondering if buying an older car and completing a full restoration would be a better option.

The car James Agger was selling only had 10k miles on it and was 10 years old.

It's all about how well the car has been looked after.

I suppose it all depends on what you want from the car.

Do you want a late mint condition show car that will be rarely driven (and hopefully increase in value)?
or
Do you want an older car that has been well maintained and will be driven hard every day you can (where future value is meaningless as you bought the car for enjoyment)?
