Oil pressure...

What oil pressure should you be seeing at tick over and at higher RPMs ... My sender is shot (I assume) as I get anywhere between 30psi - 60psi at tick over and anywhere between 30psi and 80psi at > 3,000rpm. Hell, I get about 20 psi showing as soon as I turn on the ignition.

Here's what I get, with my replacement sender from eBay:

Cold idle: 45-50 psi
Cold 1500-3000 rpm: 55 psi
Hot idle: 35 psi
Hot 1500-3000 rpm: 45-50 psi
Hot 3000+ rpm: 55 psi

I never see less than 30 or more than about 55.

So 2 - 4 bar then?

Cool - the gauge that I want to use is 0 - 7 bar so covers roughly the same 0 - 90 psi range that the original does but I just wanted to get an idea of what range of values I should be seeing on it.
