.... this month, and still going strong biggrin.

Had the engine rebuilt and upgraded to 4.0Ltr in 2007.

It's a 2002 Tamora and has done 50,000 miles, 20,000 miles on the 3.6Ltr sp6 and 30,000 on the 4.0Ltr sp6.

Soon to go up to Surface&Design and DC Trim in Blackpool for a full body respray in spectra flare silver and a full interior leather refit. Thinking of a dark and light grey leather interior, with light grey carpets, and cross stitching in the seats and doors.

Well done Ian. I'm only into my 2nd year of my Tamora ownership altho' I'm running the Westfield TVR powered V8 this year. It wasn't really in to TVRs because of all the bull that goes with the brand I fell in lust with the Tamora when I saw it for the 1st time at Le-Mans in 2007 and the journey was set toget ahold of one. It took me the best part of 4 years to eventually get one sorted and I wasn't disappointed although it ain't got the performance or handling of the Westfield but its a much more of an all rounder for touring, its a proper GT car and I do like driving it with the hood up unlike the westfield which turns itself into a kiln!

Lets see some pickys when the paint and leather is completed

Were you out in the Tamora on Monday? I waved to a silver Tamora when passing through Wiltshire. Was in a silver Chimaera.

I think you could be the longest Tamora owner Ed. How is your 4.3Ltr sp 6 doing, hope it's OK. I'm thinking of putting the 4.5Ltr speed 6 in the Tamora in the future biggrin.

The 4.3 is really brilliant, transformed the car. It just pulls and pulls but retains the sp6 character. I actually think the 4.5 would be too much power for the little tam (if you can ever have too much) it's easy to spin the wheels in first and second as it is without the 4.5SS. I suspect it would keep you on your toes. Your local i think, want to meet up sometime for run?

Same here, 8 years, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL 40,000 MILES, who says they are unreliable..........
Edit to say: the interior is like new and so is the paint work

Only the ignorant smile

Only four years for mine, not enough miles (but often not enough time too).
There's nothing out there I would choose to replace it with.

Hey Andy, did i really buy my T350 a week before you bought your Tamora?

9 years, 1 month, 2 weeks ~quite a few miles (sorry don't know how to make it small)(the text, not the mileage)

Only had mine 9-months....usuing it in the TVR Speed Champs Sprints & Speed Hillclimbs.

I'm not far away in Melksham. But a date for your Diaries, Castle Combe Sat June 22nd, Bristol Motor Club Sprint - Free Entry - where I'll have my Tam entered? See how a Std one performs with 888s/Racing Reds etc.
