Hi,

I have a Volvo C30 which is the same hub as the Focus ST 225. I'm looking to upgrade the brakes and from what I can find out many calipers will fit, for example the Renault Sport Brembo's. I would however need brackets fabricating for fitment to my car.
Can anyone recommend somebody that either could machine these or has some expert advice. Thanks!

Why not stick with something within the Ford group that uses the same hubs but has bigger brakes? Then you can fit off the shelf brackets/calipers/discs/pads. Would focus ST brakes be better? or are there brake upgrade kits for a ford focus ST off the shelf that come with the correct brackets etc etc?

I was hoping to find used calipers as new kits for the ST 225 are approximately £1700+. Standard ST brakes would offer little improvement. I recently missed out on the sale of a set of Brembo calipers (originally from the RenaultSport) with fabricated brackets for the ST. I thought a bought trying to find or put together something similar.

See this bloke on eBay who can make brackets to suit for the ford hubs so that you can use focus rs 324mm discs and Brembo 4 pots off a E38 BMW

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cosworth-2-wheel-drive-B...

Then you end up with something like this,he does complete kits too
