Planning to go to Europe the end of this month so thought I'd add a spare fuel pump to the spares I'm taking.

Engine is pretty standard, which one do I need, any links would be great.

Cheers

Liam

p.s. I'm sure this has been asked time and time again, I've had a look through but nothing and the search is down.

Thanks for the info.

I've had a look at a couple on ebay, this one for example, a little more than those linked above.

I wasn't sure if this was correct as it states for cars upto 250BHP. Should I have something that has a higher flow rate, but not as high as the 044?

Cheers

ISTR some of the early Griffs (pre-cats?) had a strange arrangement over the wishbone that was 5/8" (but compression olives were involved ~ just like the fuel rail fitting).

That's nice! trying to palm it off on some poor unsuspecting owner when it causes you issues.

To the OP:

The Chimaera fuel pump appears to be the same as fitted to a Jag XJS/XJ6-12.

The Jag part number is CBC5657.

It's a Bosch pump, although it could be branded Lucas in some cases.

The Bosch part number is: 0580464070

Buy an original for £95.00 from here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-XJ12-Series-3...

Or a copy for £45.00 from here:
