Un-fking-believable service from a company that thinks it's a privilege to be insured by them.

I changed vehicles on my insurance on the 30th April. I am still waiting for a revised insurance certificate so I can get the car taxed from the start of May.

Apparently one should have been in the post on the 30th - no, nothing has yet arrived in the post.

At first, this time last week I thought I could just go online and print a new one out - no, the insurance website doesn't allow that.

Then on Friday I thought I'd phone them and ask for a PDF version or that they send another in the post - no, they can only fax and won't send another until 7 days is up.

Today, I just spent 2 hours in the sun re-running my house phoneline so I can use my laptop as a Fax machine and have just phoned them back to request they send it now - no, I now have to wait until a 3 hours window between 8.00 and 11.00 tomorrow morning for the fax to arrive.

Without a new certificate the car is useless. I cannot tax it online as I await the change of keeper, and I cannot go to the post office because I don't have a valid certificate.

I am genuinely shocked and stunned that in this day and age these wkers are only able to fax. My other insurance companies all have online portals where I can print out my documents or are able to send an email version.

Guess who will be off the list come renewal. Grrrrr...

I know, not enough swearing or venom, but I'm at that level where I can almost feel my blood boil as the pressure rises.

I await the notification of fine from DVLA, that'll just about finish me off I reckon.

Aaaaaaagggghhhhhhhh....... banghead

ETA: And of course I've forgotten to correct the spelling in the title so all the spelling Nazis can have a pop as well. FML.

Wow...what a bunch of monkeys!

The 4 insurance companies I have dealt with, they have all either provided the documents instantly via only login or email.

Which company you having trouble with?
