I just lost access to "my" gym, so no more weights sessions for me until I find somewhere else. That may take a while. I do however have free access to some outdoors equipment - chinning bars, dipping bars and an incline bench. Any suggestions for a routine that will stop me from missing my deadlifts and benches and keep me relatively strong? Cycling and rowing will take care of the rest...

I don't think you'll need anything else...

Thanks, huge selection there! Some I'm familiar with, some I'll need a little equipment for (straps) and some I haven't a hope in hell of completing smile For those I think some further web searching is required to figure out how to progress to that one rep stage...

I've been considering this for a while.

If it's strength you are focusing on then you have to make whatever you do continually more difficult as opposed to improving your endurance. I mean, if I stand in a squat position (horse stance in kung fu) for progressively longer, will I eventually be able to squat 200kg? Or similarly, if I do 10x100 bodyweight squats and every week do an extra 100, will I be able to eventually squat 200kg?

So, if I wanted to improve my shoulder strength, initially doing something like hindu or dive bomber press ups will help but then I'd want to move to a supported handstand position (feet on sofa) and eventually do a proper handstand push up.

Similarly, to build lat strength, rather than do more and more pull ups, I'd have to move from normal pull ups to one hand pull ups.

As for that video (not clicked it but I am guessing the 44 bodyweight ones), I think that with training you can eventually do all of them. The trick is to figure out how you can get from where you are now to being able to do whatever it is you want to do.

Anyway, I've noticed that whatever the exercise, there's usually a tougher way of doing it.
