Further to our advert 4 Workshop Positions Vacant The title of the advert isn't obvious so wanted to split down the advert. Minotaur Racing is looking to employ a Fabricator/Welder in their new and busy motorsport team
Fabricator/Welder

This is a temporary to permanent position.
We are looking for a fabricator who has tig/mig experience to a high level. Experience in manufacturing radiators, exhausts, fuel systems, oil tanks etc is essential. Working with Aluminium and varieties of Steel. Must be able to customer face, and understand/translate technical drawings.
Applicants should be able to provide pictures of items previously worked on, or be able to demonstrate work at an interview
Working time
Hours: Mon-Fri (08:30-17:30 with 60 min lunch breaks)
Weekends: Expected (shows, events and race meetings) Time of in lieu to compensate
Holidays: 28 days per calendar year (including bank holidays)
Minotaur Racing is closed on English Bank holidays (except when covering race days) and over the Christmas and New Year period (typically around 10 days).
Please note – we are looking for experienced candidates only.
Location
Minotaur is located in Wiltshire near Castle Combe, with good connecting links to the M4 motorway.
Salary
We expect salary to vary with the experience of the candidate, therefore please state salary expectations in the covering letter.
