Sagaris tailgate rattle
Discussion
Same problem on my t350, wrapped the pin in insulation tape and then undid the bolt that secures it, moved the pin around a bit and found a nice secure position for it.
When you tug on the handle it shouldn't make a noise at all, any noise will mean it will rattle.
Alternatively turn the stereo up/soften up the dampers

Thanks - problem solved by slipping the clear plastic nozzle from a carlube power-steering fluid bottle on to the pin. Not exactly an elegant solution, but easy to do and functional.
Incidentally, what is the adhesive used to stick the black plastic caps on to the bolts that hold the glass tailgate to the hinge mechanism?

Guys sometimes the problem is not the pin, but the latch which holds the pin becomes loose.
Remove the leather surround and check both big Phillips head screws are tight otherwise the whole latch and pin will bounce over bumps in the road, this happened on my sag and took months of adjusting the pin over and over until i figured out what was wrong.

It may be worth checking the top two bolts attaching the screen to its hinges, bit of a pig as you'll need to remove and restick the caps. But they can work loose and cause a rattle too.
Yup. My tailgate rattled and I did exactly this, as it was clear that was the cause of the rattle (and tightening them did indeed cure it). Only I haven't got round to re-sticking the caps yet as Sikaflex is hell to dig out. jcpgasoline said:

It's Sikaflex 291, which is an adhesive sealant*. It's also used for bonding the headlight covers on, and the rear tail light covers, and loads of others things. TVRs are practically held together by the stuff. * - officially described as a "Multi Purpose Marine Adhesive/Sealant & Bedding compound"
