Hi Guys

Am new to PH as an actual user although I have spent years reading many articles produced from forum discussion and been an active user of most car forums over the years , but after a bit of research it soon became apparent the Noble community seem to hang out on PH so I decided to dive in once and for all! smile

I have been dealing with a really nice chap who is selling this car , see below and I plan to see the car tomorrow I wanted to ask what anyone knew of this Noble and also a general check list if that’s ok , I have been doing some research and , brakes, floor pan , rear suspension are hot spots also a general common sense areas need to be checked. I appreciate that is a CAT C but its only affordable to me for this very reason so am happy that it will not suit some peoples tastes but am personally fine with it, as am in the process of selling my 911 C4S to pay for the purchase.

Really hoping to get involved with the Noble community! , when I was at the Ring on Easter weekend must have been 4/5 Noble at the Dorint car park where I was staying! Must say I took a few snaps as well bet i have a few pics of a few froum members motors!, i was over in my black 911 in the car park smile

“Not sure I can post an actual link but it’s the one that’s advertised on PH for 18.7k in blue a M12 GTP 3R“

Thanks in advance for any feedback or advice

I only knew this car up the Greg Noble (no relation!) who may be along here soon to provide some detail. Greg was a fastidious owner so the car was perfect (check the V5 when you see it to see when he sold it) but after that I've no idea.

So, apart from the added M400 side pods, colour-keyed door handles, and painted wheels, it has had a blow-off valve fitted and the turbo dump valves have been moved to the front for aural (Darth Vader) effect. The front splitter has been removed (probably never bothered to refit) and the Rousche exhaust is worth having but try to find out whether the ECU was remapped when it was fitted.

Car looks great - like it's been repaired properly. Good luck smile

Nope, you can pick up a splitter for £100-ish on eBay sometimes but many people prefer going without. I like the look with it on myself.

I believe Gregs was re mapped and wiring upgrade.

That's very cheap for a 3R even Cat C. Go for it.

I felt it was a good offer also, all being well should be purchasing her I thought I would ask around ... just a last few checks if you like... Sean the chap selling seems a really genuine chap and been able to answer all my questions. Even Mrs Paza is giving me the nod smile.... garage may get a little busy ... biggrin

I also bought a cat c noble back in January and after searching for others who'd been in the same situation i emailed the seller of this car for his thoughts and advice, with no sales pressure as I wasn't buying off him I found him helpful and genuine. The advert describes what he told me back in jan, if I hadn't bought then I would be very interested in this. Hope that helps.

Greg sold it to a Mr <something> White who had it about a year before trying to sell it on pistonheads. He was after a p/ex with an Ultima if memory serves me. I enquired about the car but couldn't find the time to ever get to view it and then the advert was pulled. That must have been 4 years ago. It was on a private plate which something like his surname at the time. That's all I remember I'm afraid.

Are you sure that is greg's car it used to have afterburner lights.

If it is. One other thing to be aware of , is that it was involved in a collision at a bedford track day. Quite a hard hit to the rear.

Was not sure whether to mention this, however as he has asked and I know if I was buying the car I would want to know the full history I thought it was ok.

met sean and bought a few parts off him and I believe him to be a genuine guy, from the little I know about him getting this car repaired he did a proper job of it.

He was active on here as well

As I was in the car when it was hit I wouldn't call it "hard". Damage was purely a case of a few bent things, with most of the damage to the clam. It was all factory approved sorted.
