Had a problem a few months ago of a corroded fuel relay which drained the battery. Got it going again which took a bit to get some power in the battery.
Parked it back at home and didn't bother locking/setting the alarm. 3 weeks later it started first time, took it out for a spin then parked it up and locked it/set alarm. 4 days later it was completely flat.
Jumped it again and it was fine as I didn't lock it.
So, either a duff battery or the alarms drawing more than it should.
Gave it a full service yesterday and also changed the battery to a shine Bosch silver one £75 from Halfords. What an awesome job that was.
Using an ammeter the car is drawing 0.02a just sat there and 0.04-0.05a with the alarm set. Are these acceptable levels pointing at the fact it was the battery at fault?
Cheers, Mark

3 weeks to flat is pretty normal , get a trickle charger for when not using .
Re set adaptive maps and then go for a run , hopefully sort hesitation .

Resetting the adaptive maps with the computer did the job. I didn't bother disconnecting the battery to try that as it had been flat so thought that wasn't it. Should of tried it, doh!Re set adaptive maps and then go for a run , hopefully sort hesitation .

Its with jetstream for an engine health check and a remap, hopefully before Trevor goes away. If not then in 4 weeks time
