Sexism in Cycling ?

Interesting article in the Telegraph, on the verbal and sexist abuse encountered by some Lady cyclists.

Although in fairness, much of the article is sexism by motorists aimied at cyclists. But I think the comments from other cyclists are really surprising and a bit worrying.

Odd article.

Not sure if I agree however the proportion of feckless riding I see (the type that is the most dangerous rather than someone jumping a ped crossing) is from women. That added to the fact that seemingly very few women understand gearing and ride around in the biggest gear at all times which makes them a hazard pulling away out of junctions etc I can see why something like this may be common.
