Would you guys be using the free tolls on the Dartford Crossing before 6am to get to the aforesaid "meeting place" ?

If so, what is your ETA for the bridge and I'll see if I can join you biggrin

Hi Grey Ghost,no we do not go via the Dartford bridge. We use the M11 down to the N/Circular at Redbridge R/about. I think there is a posse that meets at the Thurrock service area ,there was last time .I think Matt Poxon,s your man .Although your more than welcome to join us .smile

Cheers Seeby, I've mailed Matt and may catch up with him before tomorrow morning. How do you guys get to the meeting point as the Blackwall Tunnel is closed southbound until 8am on Sunday morning ????

Or do you meet up at the "other" meeting point north of the river ??

There's a gnat's whisker of a chance the Black Ball Southbound will be open, but I am not holding my breath. If it is we will be first at the Bangla Boys Bacon Butty and Brew Barrel Barrow (try saying that after a few cheeky Pinot Grigios)

On the main thread it is at the top of every list of participants.

It starts at 6.30 am sharp tomorrow, Sunday 12th May. Be there, or may your wheels be square.

If you want to come, PM me and I will attach the route directions, a link to the relevant Google maps and so on, to the reply.

Look smart please - I am heading for bed soon as I have to be up at 0230 to get on the road, and need some sleep tonight.

Alternatively, PM anyone on this thread and ask them where it is starting (we don't publish it to avoid sleepless Saxo drivers attracting the attentions to the Met Police to our activities with their silly tyre smoking etc), and find me at the start and I will give the 16 page large print route instructions. Bring a passenger if you can - better fun, and they can read out the directions to you.
