I seem to be able to log in (though not consistently) to make this post now, but am unable to log in to place a classified. When I try to reset my password it says to check my email and nothing is coming in at all. Nothing in Spam either.

This is the second week I've been trying and have left various phone messages and emails with NO response and I'm getting exasperated now.

Can a mod please have a look at my account and tell me what I'm doing wrong please? I've tried on a Mac, PC, mobile and tablet and getting no joy. Also different browsers. I give up.

Sorry to rant but I've wasted hours looking at this.

Is the email address in your profile the one you've been checking?

I should also add that I was able to carry out a password reset yesterday as a result of the group email that went out. I thought that would sort it, but no.

I was sent a fresh email and then reset it again to the original password and again the same issues are occurring.

Thanks.

Have you registered for the classifieds? The forum and classified accounts are separate, so your forum account will be different to the classifieds one.

Oh. I hadn't realised that at all!

I shall have a look at that in the morning. Thank you very much.

Quick update. I seem to have got it all sorted now thank you. I registered with fresh details (why is that needed?) and the ad is up and running.

Thanks all!

You should be free. Sounds like you've possibly created two PH accounts?

I couldn't sign in with my existing details, so I placed a new email and so on. I had spend hours messing about trying to log in and so on.

Is it me (happy to accept it is) or is it not very clear how to go about placing ads with existing accounts ?

Thanks

You should be able to place classified ads for free, you may need one of the techies to "tick your box" Matt Dell or Switch.

Not to worry. it's only a tenner which has ben paid. I'm just happy to place the car up.

Thanks all.

Ask for a refund. No harm and the tenner is better in your pocket.

I've now sold the car. Thing is I now go to follow the link to 'My ads' and it is showing as no cars for sale despite it showing online. I've emailed them to ask it be removed now. What a bloody fiasco.

What particularly irks me is that none on my emails or phone calls have been returned. I feel like I'm trying to get hold of Dell customer services.
