I've just got myself a new pc and have installed all my programs and stuff.

I've connected my old hard drive and transfered over all my documents etc. but I'm stuck on how to transfer over my old e-mails and attachments.

I've got an old e-mail and I need the attached pictures for a newsletter, today. I hadn't saved the pictures, they are still an attachment.

I'm using outlook with win98se.

I hope there is a way of getting it without getting the old pc out again.

Somewhere on the hard disk you copied over will be an Outlook "pst" file - this contains all your old email, calendars, notes, etc etc.

If you find the .pst file, you should then simply be able to double click it and open it in Outlook, and access all your old stuff.

Good luck!

I wish you luck. I have never, ever managed to get e-mails transferred successfully from one PC to another (OE). If only they could be like ordinary files! I think you have to copy .dbx, .mbx and possibly .ibx files... all I know is, it seems fraught with difficulty.
