Vantage V12 Insurance
Discussion
Although you're new around these parts (welcome!), you seem to have been around PH long enough to realise that this question comes up regularly. A lot.
So, rather than just give you the pithy 'lmgtfy' quote, here's one of the recent threads: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=122...
And how much is it going to cost you? Really???? That's the proverbial 'piece of string' question. Without any details (or access to an insurer's database) the only realistic answer is: from several hundred to several thousand pounds a year.

Indeed, everybody posts this question but there are so many variables you just cant compare one persons situation to another.
The value of car, your age, your driving history, your postcode - all of those have a HUGE impact upon premiums aside from actual insurer chosen.
Anyway, try Locktons (AMOC scheme). Works out cheapest for a lot of people here, including me.

Admiral was cheapest for me (by quite a margin). The V12 was around £100 more expensive than the V8 mid term.
Everyone has their own opinion on this but my personal view on insurance is shop around and allways buy the cheapest. There appears to be no sound logic in how premiums are calculated and there is certainly no customer loyalty from insurance providers when it comes to renewal quotes etc, quite the opposite in fact.

Just ran a quote through Admiral and it was certainly the cheapest. Then did it through confused.com and it brought Admiral up again, but even cheaper - so actually more cost effective to go through confused.com then their website directly?! I think I agree with you, there is no logic with insurance!yeti said:
Give ClassicLine a try as well, they have just allowed me a mileage increase to 7500 (up from 5000) for an extra forty quid. Very handy
Total premium is about 600 quid I think on a DB9.
Lewis who did they underwrite it with?

Just waiting on my quote from them be "adjusted" to compete

I've just switched over to Classic Line in the last day or so, £510 for a V8 Vantage 7500miles per annum £350xs and includes breakdown cover and homestart. Nice guys to deal with

Surprised it wasn't higher

My policies there are unwritten by Equity Red Star at the moment. No adjustment at all for all my mods, never has been for any of the cars and I must have insured 20 cars with them over the last 15 years or so.
