R129 wheel refurbishment

Hi, i need to get the wheels on my R129 refurbed. Normal stuff, some kerb damage (previous owners obviously) and some corrosion where wheel balancing weights have been. I live in North Wales any recommendations and idea of cost gratefully received.

sorry cant recommend in your area, but which wheels do you have? 8 holes ?
i am fairly sure the colour you need is Astral Silver or Brilliant silver if a 96 model or later

It's a 97, and there are 12 holes.

I used these guys when I had my E Class's refurbed - they are the diamond polished wheels and really pleased with the results. They send out a set of OEM replacements and take yours back to refurbish for the next customer.
The quality of the refurbishment is apparently better than most according to the main dealer who put me in touch with them.
It may be worth a call to see whether they have any agents in your area who will swap the tyres and balance etc for you.

Depending where you are in north Wales ? There is wheel smart in colony bay or Abergele , the wheel restorer in Wrexham
