I need to create a music "data" Cd in windows media player 9, ie just use Media player to select the tracks I want on the disc, but rip them to CD in the format that they are already in, WMA and MP3.

I am pretty stupid, cos I can't find a way of doing this, but I'm 95% sure that you can do...

Please Help!

Thanks, Paul.

Does it have to be WMP? Roxio Easy CD Creator is dead easy to use - you choose from 'music', 'data' or 'copy', drag the tracks over and click Record. Mine came free with the CD writer.

Yes, sorry. Cos all my music is aranged on there. I could just find all the files on my PC and bung them on CDR-w but I thought that there was an easier way through media player...

Oh well.

Media Player converts all of the tracks (be they WMA or MP3) to CD-Audio first. If you just want to create an audio cd with WMA or MP3 native files - just create a temporary folder, copy all of your wma or mp3 files into that folder and then copy the entire folder over to the CD-R/CD-RW using the built in burning function of XP (assuming that you are using XP)
