I'm sorry to say that today I've taken a deposit for the S; somebody is getting a nice birthday present; it COULD be you !!
A massive thanks to everyone who has assisted me over the last year, and to my two local's (Dave and Richard).
Now, it's time to starting searching for an early Griff or Chimaera, although selling your first TVR will always stick in the memory.
thanks again for all the assistance
Mike

lovely looking S that too. Well congrats on the sale, you are correct that you will never forget it and everytime you have probs with the new car will always wonder if you should have sold her...
still, onwards and upwards. Bring on the V8's! My chim has been a gem and now looks as though it could be sold so onwards and upwards once again. More power arg arg arg arg arg.

Go for it, get a V8 monster under your bum!
I don't think I could part with my S now but I do want something else as well, something fast and fun but suitable for year round use and reliable too.
That's a new TVR knocked on the head then, best start looking at Porsches
I think a Cerbera would suit me well but they do have their problems. Perhaps I should keep saving for a T350T, should take about 15 years and I'll also be able to get insurance from SAGA.

Something I said?
I'm just dreaming, took bl**dy long enough to save up for the S!
Perhaps when I'm old and grey .....leaving myself wide open to the wise cracks here eh!
Corrected typos!

kentish, a warning though - DO NOT DRIVE A CERBERA. if you do, nothing will be quite the same.
A good incentve then!
true. The funniest thing was 15 1/2 stone of shnozz in cerber450's passenger seat the first time we tried out the Nos. When the seat back made a snapping sound I thought I best let craig know
Laptops on the passenger seat, plugged into ecu's, jets of Nos coming out from pipes fixed where the washer jets should be, onboard computer to set Nos levels, its spaceship enterprise. nuts.

When I have mine spot on mechanically I'm seriously considering installing Nos. It's the best value performance increase you'll ever buy. Mind you, I'm hitting 80 on short slip roads at the moment prior to entering dual carriageway from a slow start of 20-30ish ...and my injectors need a recon. A few more bits to do and I should be able to reap the rewards of the recently ported/gas flowed heads.

totally agree. Lots of Nos enemies in TVR circles though mate so be prepared....
To put the performance in perspective, I think we entered the slip road about 25 mph. Its about 300 metres and we got on the motorway somewhere near 130 IIRC. Craig may want to correct me but I seem to recall it was that sort of speed.

That's certainly fuelled my hunger for some big affordable power.
The S is pretty quick as it is now but I think 0-60 times of around 4.5 to 5 secs should be possible. That would be very nice indeed

Other factors have lead to a delay in the start of project S so interested to see what you achieve and how you get there.
I was with Joolz the other week sorting out my Chim but talking about the S and thinking 3.2 standard engine, possibly turbocharged and Nos. Problem is going to be maintaining "driveability" at low speeds so it doesnt stutter down the road. I dont think much is going to happen for a while and I am just about to order a new car for delivery early next year so not sure how much will get done on the S to be honest.
It can't be you because I know who it's for and he's not a PH'er... yet. Although I may have the pleasure of driving it to it's knew home myself
. I think the last straw was when I made him a T-shirt that said 'I wanted a TVR like my friend Mike but my wife went out and bought a freakin yellow MGF instead
'. Now she has seen the light
