Hi all-have decided on CS2 & been looking at Porsche UK site to give myself a better choice as only 1 dealer over here. Was wondering roughly what discount, if any, I may get from OPC on mainland. Small movement on price from dealer over here. Would that be the same from all of them-realise different cars have different margins. Any assistance greatly appreciated-Thanking You.
As you say a lot depends upon the car, but generally there's not a huge margin - I got a good trade-in both times on my previous cars, but nothing off the sticker price of the car I was buying.
If you can play 'em off against each other and see what happens - now probably isn't the best time of year to be buying a sports car from a 'deal' perspective sadly. Get what you can though - perhaps once the deal appears to be all done, tell them you want gap insurance thrown in - their margins on this are huge, so it's not much loss to them. I got some espresso mugs and a day at Silverstone for me and the wife.

It depends if you have a trade-in or if you're a cash buyer, and whether you are loking at finance.
I would expect around 5-10% for a cash deal, especially now the 981 has been launched. You might get more if you finance through Porsche as they make more margin there - but bear in mind their APR can be negotiated downwards, especially if you have genuine quotes from other sources for the money.
