Roadster wind deflectors
Discussion
I'm going to sound contradictory now because on one hand, I think the deflector is not bad (on vantage, no idea on DB9/S) - it does, for me, make a small improvement to reduce buffeting and does little to impair visibility, roof up or down, though admittedly roof up rear view is a little darker
However on the other, I rarely use mine, mainly for vanity reasons as I think the car looks so much better without. Plus on any kind of a trip with luggage, if you don't want it in, it takes up quite a bit of boot space
Even when you don't have luggage, are you really going to open the boot and get the deflector out when you need it ? So your choice is more realistically in the real world, always in place (roof up or down) or always out - it comes back to vanity and the fact it doesn't make that much of a difference
I kept mine from my last car as it fits my new one, but it's been in my garage ever since........

Having met you Jonby, I can understand you needing as much vanity as you can get from the car Even when you don't have luggage, are you really going to open the boot and get the deflector out when you need it ? made a big fuss about must have wind deflector when i bought my 06 DB9 volante, and then found it almost useless. on my bentley gtc it works very well, no buffeting until about 85 mph. Harry
Was it fitted right? On my 9 could easily cruise at that sort of speed with no buffeting. Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
