Nice work, cheers. Not looked at prices, so with voucher how does it compare to regular unleaded, about the same?

Guess they are trying to empty the tanks to make way for the new V-Power Nitro+ fuel.

V-Power Nitro+ yada yada yada was £1.399. But to be honest, I don't know how £1.349 compares to the price of regular unleaded. I never fill up with it.

www.petrolprices.com might help though.

It applies to all Shell fuels.

And all of the V-Power stations that I have been to recently have all stocked Nitro+ anyway.

Almost certainly.

You can't beat a little bit of marketing to boost sales.

If you go to a Shell garage that is doing attendant service they will give you a voucher for 10p off a litre of V-Power Nitro+. In fact when I filled up they also gave me a voucher for my next fill up, vallid until 4th June. With the voucher it worked out as £1.29.9 per litre of V-Power Nitro+ which was 4p less per litre than standard unleaded.

Shell make the most effort with their fuels - it's the good stuff usually though I haven't read up on the Nitro stuff yet.

Could so with a cheap tank full though smile

I'm sure I'd spend more than the £2.50 saving printing a voucher and looking for a garage in petrol - not counting the depreciation in the car.... but agreed...good marketing made me look smile

BTW: Poor economics I know but - assuming a £10k per year depreciation amounts to £1.14 / hour, every hour - which if you did 10,000 miles @ an average of 50mph amounts to £50.00/driving hour - so if you spent more than 3 mins driving to and from said garage cash in the pocket better, residuals - v poor biggrin
